We are offering a free Power Hiking program this Spring Wednesday evenings at 6:30. This is a great way to get healthy active exercise in a supportive environment. Power Hiking takes a walk in the woods up a notch to make it a great workout. Trekking poles are recommended and participants should already be active as it is a strenuous activity. Power Hiking is done on a mix of double and single track trails and includes hill climbing.
The program will run on Wednesday evenings from Mar 31 to June 9 in various locations, our first night will be at the Wells Trail. Everyone is welcome to this adult exercise program and for the safety and comfort of all we ask that you not bring dogs or strollers. To join the group you should have your own set of trekking poles, be medically safe to be active and able to walk briskly with poles for at least 30 minutes… we will build from there.
