We are offering a free Nordic Walking program this Spring Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm. This is a great way to get healthy active exercise in a supportive environment. The Nordic Walking method has gained world wide popularity and it has proven to be an effective way to promote health and fitness. Nordic Walking can be recreational activity or competitive sport depending on your goals and interests.
NEW! There is interest in a more introductory offering so there will now be two options on Thursday evening. From 6:00-6:30 will be emphasis on learning the technique and less brisk pace. From 6:30-7:30 will be more focused on fitness development and will be a brisk walk. Some of you may want to do both and you are welcome to do that (I plan to 🙂 ). Please use the same registration below.
The program will run on Thursday evenings from May 13 to June 17 starting from various locations at 6:30 pm. Our first walk will start at École des Pionniers in Quispamsis . Everyone is welcome to this adult exercise program and for the safety and comfort of all we ask that you not bring dogs or strollers. To join the group you should have your own set of poles, be medically safe to be active and able to walk briskly with poles for at least 15 minutes… we will build from there.
